Terms

Effective October 2026. These Terms are an agreement between you and Tappy Solutions LLC ("Tappy Pro", "Tappy", "we", "us") for the use of tappypro.com, app.tappypro.com, Tappy cards and QR codes, and the text messages sent through Tappy.

Text message programs

Tappy runs two kinds of text messages.

Tappy account messages: when you create or use a Tappy business account, Tappy Pro texts the mobile number you give us one-time sign-in codes and account notices. You agree to these texts by giving us your mobile number during sign-up or when adding it to your account.

Business VIP clubs: when you join a Business's VIP club by tapping a Tappy card, scanning a QR code, or visiting the Business's sign-up page and checking the box, that Business will text you offers, news, and a one-time request for feedback about your visit. The Business's name appears on the sign-up page and in its texts.

For both programs:

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any text to cancel. You will receive one text confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further texts unless you join again.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email hello@tappypro.com.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy at tappypro.com/privacy.

Business accounts

To use Tappy as a Business, you must be at least 18, able to agree to these Terms for your business, and give accurate information, including the legal business details required to register your business with phone carriers.

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure.

Subscriptions and payment

Tappy is billed as a monthly subscription at the price shown when you sign up, plus any extra purchases you choose (such as additional text blasts). Payments are processed by our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can update your payment method or cancel at any time from your account. We may change prices for future billing periods with advance notice.

If a payment fails, we may pause features until it is resolved. Taxes may apply.

Your responsibilities when texting customers

If you send texts through Tappy, you agree to:

  • Text only people who have agreed to receive texts from your business, using Tappy's sign-up pages or another method that meets the law;
  • Honor every opt-out (Tappy records STOP replies and will not send to opted-out numbers);
  • Follow all laws and carrier rules that apply to text messaging, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CTIA guidelines;
  • Not send content that is illegal, misleading, harassing, or related to prohibited categories such as sex, hate, alcohol, firearms or tobacco where carriers restrict them, or illegal drugs; and
  • Keep your business information accurate for carrier registration.

Carriers review and approve each business's texting. Approval timing and decisions are outside our control.

Reviews

Tappy helps customers reach your Google review page. You agree to follow Google's policies, including not offering rewards in exchange for reviews and not asking only happy customers to leave reviews. Any replies you post to reviews, including replies drafted with Tappy's writing assistant, are your responsibility.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Tappy: no attempts to access other accounts or data, interfere with the service, reverse engineer it, or use it to send spam or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put our users, carriers or partners at risk.

Your content and data

You keep ownership of your business information and your customer list. You give us permission to use it only to provide and improve Tappy, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and cancellation

We may update Tappy and these Terms. The current version is always at tappypro.com/terms. If changes are significant, we will notify Businesses by email or in the app. You may cancel at any time; we may end the service with reasonable notice.

Disclaimers

Tappy is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any number of reviews, sign-ups or sales, or that texts will always be delivered, since delivery depends on carriers and other providers.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tappy's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.
